Acceleration = (change in speed) / (time for the change).

Acceleration = (14 m/s - 0 m/s) / (3.5 s) = 4 m/s²

Acceleration = (Change in velocity) / (Time taken)
So,
Acceleration = [latex] \frac{14 - 0}{3.5} [/latex]

Acceleration = [latex] \frac{14}{3.5} [/latex]

Acceleration = 4 m/s²

So, acceleration of the car is 4 m/s²
