An object with a density of 1.24 g/ml is placed in water. What will happen to the object? If another object with a density of .76 g/ml is dropped, what will happen to it???

The first object has density greater than that of water so it sinks when placed in water. The second object has mass, so it falls to the floor when dropped. But if dropped into water, it floats, because its density is less than that of water.
