Two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom are joined to make a water molecule. The molecule is polar because the water molecule

the reason water is polar is because it looks like this H-O-H but in a V shape the H atoms are slightly positive and the O atom is slightly negative this is because the H atoms are bonded to the O atom and the O atom has a strong pull of elections and the one electron that each hydrogen has is being pulled by the O atom to where it is very close to the outer shell of the O atom causing it to be more negative and since the electron is not really belonging to the H atom it is more positive. idk if that really makes sense to you if you need more help let me know
