to find yor answer you first have to multiply your 2 denominators (the 3 and the 4) yor answer will be 12 so thats your new common denomiantor then you have to multiply 1x4=4 and 1x3=3 so then you add your 3 and your 4 from the numbers i just multiplied ok well 4+3=7 so your answer is: 7 as your numerator and 12 as your denomiantor ANSWER:   7

1/3 + 1/4
3x4=12 3x1=3
4x3=12 4x1=4
3/12 + 4/12=7/12
7/12
Hope this helps!!
